1. Acceptance
By installing or using WatchRadar you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What WatchRadar provides
WatchRadar reads visual signals from the photos you take and returns a confidence-based verdict (Likely Authentic, Uncertain, High Risk), a region-by-region horological assessment, a market-value estimate where available, and an optional Authenticity Certificate.
3. What WatchRadar is not
WatchRadar is not a legal certificate of authenticity. It does not replace movement inspection by a watchmaker, in-person specialist authentication, or independent provenance research. It is not financial advice and the market-value estimate is not an appraisal.
4. Acceptable use
- You will not upload images you do not have the right to use.
- You will not misrepresent a WatchRadar verdict as a guarantee.
- You will not attempt to forge, reuse, or alter Authenticity Certificates.
- You will not abuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the service.
5. Subscriptions and pricing
WatchRadar may offer free and paid features. Paid features are billed through Apple. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your Apple subscriptions settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies.
6. Authenticity Certificates
Each certificate is issued at your request, references the watch and verdict at the time of issuance, and is published at a public verification URL containing the WRC-id. You may request takedown of a specific certificate at any time. WatchRadar may revoke a certificate if its underlying analysis is later invalidated.
7. No warranty
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranty that any verdict will match the legal authenticity of any specific watch. Use the app as one input among others, especially for high-value purchases.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WatchRadar will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes
We may update these terms when features or legal requirements change. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
